Sanitising my eye shadows.

Makeup cleaning should be an important part of every makeup artist's routine.  Everyone remembers to clean their makeup brushes, but how do we get the actual makeup germ-free?


There are some makeup sanitisers available on the market.  I haven't seen any locally so I decided to use rubbing alcohol.  I avoided the wintergreen scented one because I didn't want to chance that scent affecting the eye shadows.


Method

1.  Pour the alcohol into a spray bottle
2.  Spray the alcohol directly onto the makeup.  Make sure the alcohol completely covers the surface.
3.  Leave to dry
4.  Spray the surfaces of the makeup compacts and wipe dry.



This is also helpful for makeup wearers who may repeatedly get the flu or eye infections - you may be re-infecting yourself and not even realize it.

 This year's awards show was held on Sunday in Los Angeles.  Word on the streets? Many outfits were less than flattering. We try our best not to use the G word over here.  However we saw many cute and stylish outfits, proudly worn by our ladies.   We managed to choose 5 gorgeous red carpet ensembles from BET's event. This dark dress with a flattering neckline managed to turn heads.  Applique was the name of the game for this short number. This dress was our personal favorite, body hugging and with a strategically placed slit. We would have preferred a less translucent look, but this fit was definitely worn with confidence. Review: Creme of Nature Shampoo, Hair Milk & Curl Enhancing Creme

                          I have to admit , these Creme of Nature products have been lifesavers for my hair!  Since I decided to buy these products just for the heck of it, I don't regret my purchases.  These have been my go-to products for a little over two months and I am totally satisfied with the results.     1.  Creme of Nature Moisture & Shine shampoo.  This sulfate - free product lathers up well and rinses out leaving hydrated, clean hair. 2.  Creme of Nature Leave - In Hair Milk.   I apply this after I condition my hair and also as a daily moisturiser. 3.  Creme of Nature Pudding Perfection Curl Enhancing Creme This is the last step in my hairdressing routine.  As the name states, its pudding - like consistency keeps my hair moist so it does not dry out and get crunchy.   The label says it can also be used with heat to stretch out curls but I try to keep heat - styling tools at bay as much as I can.
